A new generation of the Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class compact sedan arrives next year, and Mercedes has given another sneak peek, this time with a video featuring CEO Ola Källenius taking a prototype for a spin.
Mercedes already used the backdrop of the Festival d’Hyères held in France in October to present a lightly camouflaged prototype, and the new video reveals more details like the design of the headlights and parts of the cabin, including a clear look at the car's panoramic glass roof.
Källenius also confirms that a high-performance AMG variant is the pipeline.
The version in the video is powered by an electric powertrain, but the new CLA-Class and other members of Mercedes' next-generation small car range will offer buyers a choice of electric or hybrid powertrains.
