After leaving The Yardbirds in 1966, Beck worked with his own group and with other musicians.

A lot of Beck's music has no singing. It focuses on Beck's skilled guitar style. His music crosses many genres including blues-rock, heavy metal and jazz fusion.

He won four Grammy Awards for "Best Rock Instrumental Performance."

Beck was listed 14th in Rolling Stone Magazine's list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time".^[1]

Beck was added into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice.
